Default Good brand of seats?

I realize that the standard companies like Sparco are out there, however their seats are very expensive, and I am a poor college student. I would like something that is comfortable, but has the seatbelt harness option(something I have always wanted). So, that leaves me the question of what seat fits these requirements, yet is not ridiculously expensive?

Thanks!

Honestly I say save up for some nice seats like Sparco,Momo, Bride, Recaro. THe cheap replica seats just look horrible and arn't as comfy as the real deal ones.

Alright, so first of all sorry for posting this in the wrong forum. Apparently I can't figure out that "aero and exterior" isnt the interior forums.

I would like to buy some Sparco or Momo seats, but they are super expensive, and I wouldnt be able to afford $400+ per seat until I finish my masters and doctorate.

Then I say just stay with the stocks. Do it once and do it right! But if you gotta get some racing seats, maybe look into NRG seats (www.getnrg.com). THey have replica recaro style seats that are ok. Hit up island motorsports (714) 522-7457 for a good deal on them.

One more question then.

Are seats universal? Are they similar to stereo headunits where they are all basically compatible with one another, but just require different mounting brackets to be put in?
