Default Hardwired Passport x50 blue with remote mount *pics

Pretty painless. Just hide the wire up the black rubber door sill from the fuse panel underneath the driver's side area.... I grounded it to the brake pedal base... Just make sure TO LEAD THE WIRE BEHIND THE SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAG. Was pretty easy to do. Just pry gently where it joins and lead the wire behind and over the airbag... I lead it all the way underneath the top liner and waaaalaa! Took 20 minutes.

much cleaner then a cord hanging to the cigarette lighter 12v.... Easy to take off and unplug and put it under your seat or glovebox. I think it makes theives think twice in stealing it, not only can you not see it from outside very well, (because of my A line tint) but there is no power cord to take... Theives want it all to work and want the cigarette power cord as much as the detector.

I dremelled a hole in the dummy port and got some heavy duty 3M 2 sided tape and mounted it. Very convenient to mute where it is mounted while driving... nice that the blue of the remote and passport matches my blue underdash lighting...

lol i know.... It doesn't fit flush in the hole too bad. so I had to mount it like shown... I could of put it somewhere else but I HATE dummy ports on cars hehe.

Actually I like it a little raise off the dash... easier to find the mute button.

It looks like the rear view mirror is obstructing the rear laser sensor. The rear laser sensor being the small budge of dark semi-translucent plastic on the top of the Passport, left hand side, towards the rear. You might want to lower the unit, or move it over towards the drivers side a little more.

good job on the install, I got mine put in similarly, here is mine. It looks like its tilted weird from the angle i shot the picture at, but its actually perfectly level.

And I got the hidden display unit in that little cubby hole in front of the shifter

Here's mine. you can hardly see it unless you're sitting in the drivers seat. And yes, it works fine there. I had it mounted in my old car same location. It's hardwired to the fuse box, ans grounded to the brake ped.

The display unit that has the mute button on it for the radar... how are you powering it without a cigarette lighter 12v?
