okay, i was turning my box around, and one of the speaker terminals on a single 12" (1 out of 1 sub in the car) fell out of the terminal. It obviously stopped working, so i turned off the car, plugged it back in, and turned the beats back on. Whoosh, nothing happened. My amp stopped recieving power (phoenix gold 500.1 mono) so i don't know what happened or how to fix it.

PLEASE help me out as soon as possible.

CHECK YOUR FUSES

 

i checked the one in the engine compartment that powers everything and that one is alright because my door speakers are still getting power. where do i find the other fuses?

 

is there a fuse on your amp? do you have a DMM or light tester? try seeing af your power wire is still getting juice, and see if the remote wire came loose on the amp

 

this all happened when i unplugged the speaker input on the sub box by accident.

 

okay, fuses were blown

they are yellow flat fuses, anyone know where to get them? (two 20 amp fuses)


will radioshack carry them or should i try an audio place or what

 

Should be the common blade fuse... should be able to find those anywhere, even grocery stores.

 

Radio shack, Autozone, Pep boys, Wal mart, basically anything with an automotive section they are very common fuses.
