Default HID conversion from tCTunerz

Has anyone tried this HID conversion kit out?

http://www.tctunerz.com/store/produc...products_id=65

Looks pretty good, but they only provide one picture!

imo, at the moment, the only reasonable options are bulbs (silverstars, luminics) or a HID retrofit. plug and play kits on stock tC headlights aren't worth the money.

so why aren't the plug and play HiD kits worth it??

I am going to upgrade the headlights on my tC

like to know if this will be worth me spending more cash to get a retro fittted kit then...

I don't agree, there's a reason that they're included as standard features on high end vehicles. If they didn't, and they caused more eye strain, they wouldn't be as prevelant as they are.

That link was awesome, I am new to HID, I thought you could just throw in some new bulbs and ballasts and everything would work fine. Thanx Maximus96 for the link.

HID and PRojectors are different, you should know the difference if you are going to argue about them

what realy kills me about these these kits.. is that they make them try to be more white/blue than the OEM HID's...... whats the OEM HID temp.. 4300K..? right.?. everyone has tried their best to get holygens to "look" like this.. and if anyone has used the HID look alikes..(the ones that are BLUE holygen bulbs) you will notice that while they may look blueish.. you are not getting no where near the light you get if you were running regular holygens.. WHY..? becuase you have a (blue) filter on the bulb....

now i look at these true HID kits.. and they sell 6000K and 8000K kits... WHY..?? isn't the 4300K good enymore...? why do you need them to be more blue....? again.. you spend $400/500 to get a filtered light.... it goes beyond my comprehension.. i am considering getting an HID kit for my TC (if it ever shows up).. if i do.. it will be the 4300k kit..

YES.. i know all about the projectors and everything else..
