Default How do I disable the factory alarm?

I have the factory alarm system and I have to ship my box. They require me to disarm the alarm system so as not to have it alarming the whole time it is on the boat.

Thanks,

I have to leave the box with them and then they will be putting it in another box and then on the boat.

The only way to assure that may be to disconnect the battery...

Check with Scion - if anyone has a 'good' answer, it should be them.

Call the Scion Customer Experience at 1.866.70.SCION Monday through Friday from 5am to 6pm and Saturday 7am to 4pm PST.

But if it keeps alarming then by the time I get her back in Washington my battery would be dead.

I will check with the dealer and give the number above a call.

Thanks,

Thanks for the info.

I gave them a call and all they could tell me was that I was out of luck. The person that I spoke to pretty much had the owners manual and that was about it. They suggested that I just leave it unlocked. I just am not happy with that answer. Maybe it is just me.
The person that I spoke to could not get past the fact the nonaudiable alarm actually made the horn sound when it alarmed. I had to explain (a few times) that it does not make a sound when you arm it but the horn does sound when it alarms.

Thanks for the info,
