how to wire cut off switch for amp
I'ver searched thru several posts, but found no real answer...
Does anyone know how to Wire acut off switch for an Amp?
Does it matter what Switch I buy (i mean for certain voltage ranges)
And do I just wire the REMOTE wire from teh head unit to the switch, and then on the other side of the switch wire a remote wire to the amp, is that the basic idea...?
Just looking for some confirmations in this matter
Thanks...

Yeah you have the basic idea. Pretty easy actually. Pic up the GardnerBender gsw-45 rocker switch at Lowes for about $3.75

You just need a SPST switch rated at only a few amps. You are just running the remote through it so you don't need some high amperage rating. A lighted switch will have three poles on the back one for power (From an ignition switched power source/or not), one switched pole (to the remote on the amp), and a ground (to the chassis).
Non-lighted has no ground pole.
Non-lighted has no ground pole.
