Default Infinity basslink or Scosche 10" Loaded Enclosure

Ok... right now I am thinking of going with the basslink. I like the fact that it is powered and is small enough to fit in the X. Sound never heard one???? What I am trying to do is get some good bass. Not looking for the BIG BOOM.
Anyone got any info on these???? And if you any pictures of one in you XB please post!!! Thanks Mike

I don't have one in a box but I can vouch for the basslink. It's nice and compact and evenly rounds out the OEM sound. It's obviously not a good choice for serious bass lovers but for the casual listener it's excellent.

If it were me, I would say neither. If you are looking for something simple and cost effective, this is what I would do...

BOX...

SUB...
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=12440

AMP...
http://www.millionbuy.com/jlae1200.html

Total about $315 before shipping, and you get a much better product in my opinion.

Agreed 100%.... this would give you tons better sound quality and a little extra volume...

I also forgot to mention... POLYFIL the box! .65 cubic feet is small, even for a shallow 10" subwoofer.

The box only has 5.25" of mounting depth and that Diamond Audio sub is 5.63" deep according to the website. I've heard that sub and you would be much better off going with the JL 10W1V2 which is 4.34" deep. However, your biggest problem would be the woeful box volume which is is only big enough to accomodate a few 10" subs like the Earthquake SWS10. That box is better suited for 8s.

I have a Basslink in my 740i, and it sounds great. I think a Basslink would fit under the passenger seat and would allow full use of the cargo area.

I've heard good things about the basslink, but i liked the stealthiness of the Scosche unit so I went that route. With a 250w Punch amp it has some serious thump, way more than enough to augment the stock system... At some point I'll replace the driver, but for now it's great.

That looks sweet too!!! My problem Is I have my tool box and other crap-o-la back there, and now that Im going to have a kid in a month I will need to have stroller and other stuff back there so unfortinatly that set up didnt work for me. The Basslink being tucked under the passenger seat is clean and tidy and I get to keep all my trunk space

and P.S. The girls Really like riding in my passenger seat!
