Default Installing OEM Leather Steering Wheel

Anyone have the PDF?

I can snag a OEM Leather steering wheel cheap but I'm sort of scared to mess w/ it since the airbag and all has to be removed. I've done the entire interior in sound deadening, springs, fogs but for some reason, the steering wheel is scaring me.

I wanted to glance over the install instructions before I purchase the wheel.

These are for the tC, but it's pretty much the same for xA and xB. Don't worry too much about the airbags. This PDF says wait 90 seconds, but I would give it more like 10-15 minutes to be on the safe side.

I just ebay'd a tC wheel for my xA and will be doing the swap in the next couple weeks.

I assumed it was very similar but was hoping someone out there had the actual xA/xB instructions since my search has turned nothing up.

I see what you mean. I just keep coming up with tC PDF's. I'm going to follow those when I do mine.....unless I get ahold of some for the xA first.

Hopefully someone around will be willing to post up some for xA's and xB's.

Just bumping this to advise its a one hour job for the dealership ($60) so I'm taking it in to get installed. I don't want to mess up the steering column or anything.

I should be getting instructions with it from the guy I'm buying it from so I'll scan them for you.

If you have the right size torx sockets it's about a 15 minute job. Just remove the negative terminal first just to be safe. Really easy Maria.

I really appreciate the offer but I was advised (by Noella) that the dealership will be installing it, not me.

Hey she's letting me buy it so I'll let Maus install it, they screw it up, they fix it!

Already made the appointment and my 3rd brake light has been working off and on for a few months so I'm going to get that warranty work done while I'm there, finally.
