i just got my BCP tC and intend to put purple lights on it. I was gonna do blue but my Miata is blue lighting everywhere so I figure the tC should be different. ;-)
I'll post pix once the lighting is installed. Might get it done before you decide on your color.... if not, I'm sure any color you pick will be awesome.

If you want lights that are actually red, you should buy some white cathodes and some red krylon stained glass paint. Paint the tubes with the clear red paint for truer color tone than "red" cold cathodes that burn pink.
I'd do white if I was you.
