Default Interior Dash Questions

I searched but didnt really turn up any good results of what I was looking for.

My Top Part of my dash has been scratched up a good bit and I was thinking of my options. I could Have it glassed and painted or get it covered..

Just wanted to see who out there has covered there dash and if they did it themselves or had a shop do it.

I was thinking of having the headliner / pillars and dash in a black suede.

I suggest going with a suede that is flexible. Otherwise you will have a hell of a time with stretching it. The suede I went with had NO give at all and I had a hell of a time. Gave the rear pillars to a pro and he had a hell of a time.

I'll be the con to that argument .. have the upper dashed smoothed and painted. It will look hot !! Either way you are looking at an equal expense I think. Both are labor intensive and both require removing the upper dash portion in order to do the job right and proffessionally.

My dash is painted ..
