Things are coming along. I found out the hard way that it is not possible to get good light output through the dash speaker vents, also the blue LEDs I ordered were a different shade than my blue vent LEDs I have now. So axe to that project.

I instead added a light to my glove box. The oven is next.

I had to twist wire around the dome light terminals and add some solder to the twist for adding my lights. Not perfect, oh well.

Here's my light for the truck area, it lights up the whole thing easily:

It's a white light, and I got Ozniums LED dome light board for my main one.
I got blue, just to be different from white, but I kinda wish I got white anyway.
It's still awesome, light emits from all my windows at night. Hitting unlock at a distance is pretty cool to see now.

I still have to put my pillars back in, I'm so worried about scratching the paint when I do.

Here's one of our cats ruining mom's flowers:

Haha I love cats they are like small lions.

As long as you put on multiple coats of paint you should be fine for the pillars just take your time and slide them in.

Once you do the Oven light you should be golden I rigged up my power port for there and it was a _____! Ill post pics soon.

I like the idea of having a light in there for sure. Also rigging light in the back was cool too. I will probably copy you on that one for sure.

Starting to really come together there Zman. Can't wait to see what it's going to look like with the leather. Curtains look good too. Grab another set and have two curtains on the back doors when you get a chance.

Looks like you got your headliner all done, how many cans did that take in total?

6 cans of Rustoleum Fabric paint from Autozone.

Back curtains would be cool. They are hard to find for me though.

I think I'm gonna do the seat belt parts in black. The contrast would look nice.

I really want my seats to come in. It's been a month since I ordered. I can't wait.

I don't even use my one cig lighter.
Is there a cool place you could mount the second one? Like right under the steering column out of sight?

I need to take some better pics, those don't do it justice haha.

Yeah I use a GPS on occasion, but the battery lasts surprisingly long when not plugged in. I need a phone charger. My Headunit has a cord that plays/charges ipods, but I don't have an ipod yet!

Sooo. My VIP table came in. Thanks to Oratoro!
The mounting is a little sketchy, the metal tabs have almost nothing to grab on to. It works though.
Another thing, I have LEDs in my vents and it covers that one up. If I remove the metal cup it may not...
Overall it does wonders to the interior.

From earlier, I like the blue! I thought it wouldn't look good but it looks awesome.

I need to tilt my Scangauge down a tad, I mounted it with 3M tape instead of velcro and it reflects on the windshield at night now.

And I'm both of those things haha.

I love it because it reads my instantaneous mpg's so I have corrected my basic driving habits based on the Scangauge. Quick acceleration is actually better for mileage than slowly reaching cruising speed.

It has many other readings, I use mph and engine temp.

What if the railing is an inch away from the part of the window nearest to the rear seatbelt? I'd need a longer railing or two pieces.

I never really got behind the idea of fabric paint. My first headliner was done in faux black leather, and it held up just fine with 2, maybe 3 cans of 3m super 90.

This is tweed....... Done by gluing 1 foot sections at a time.

This is my trunk lighting, made a whole new panel from a sheet of plastic, and glued some superflux leds from oznium in there.

Nice. so you routed the wires for the lights where the TBL wires run?

I do want to wrap it, but I think it looks good now, it just doesn't have a cool feel to it.

Your interior looks pretty cool.

that back cargo light idea is pretty amazing! I wanna put something like that in for sure. It feels like a dark ally in my convection oven.

My LED module from Oznium makes more than enough light. I wouldn't want them in the hatch panel for whenever I have things in the back that butt up against it.

Since I'm off work, I want to add LEDs to my cupholders. I'm not sure how I should mount them. I DON'T want them to blind me at night, I want them to simply make it easier to find the cupholders at night. I've spilled a few drinks while driving from not being able to see.

Now, I purchased the flattest LEDs that Oznium sells. Should I place them right in the middle of the cupholder and add a resistor? Or add a small piece of tint to them? I'm not sure. I don't want a flat bottomed drink to not sit properly.

I would put them towards the bottom in the corners closest to the shifter, pointing away from you. That's where I'm going to put mine if I ever get around to doing it.

I like Oznium... I rep them whenever I can.

The cup holders have a square part when you look at them. If you mount the LEDs to this area, you shouldn't have any problems with a flat bottom cup. If you aim the LEDs forward, the results will be a very solid indirect lighting. You may want to grommet the LEDs to dampen the output. I've got a couple million color 5mm LEDs in the cups and it's bright enough to glow on the visors and reflect on the window a little.

You should get to it! I think I'm going to T-tap the automatic shifter light wires.

That sounds like a good place to put them. I do want them dim.
