interior parts painted to match scions
We have a hot lava scion that I painted the inside to match the outside and it looks really good. i have pictures if you want to see them and a price list will be available if you email risharooo@yahoo.com. i'll pay the shipping ( on most parts) and the overall product will be really cheap and it will be a great job. i think it will be 15 dollars for your ***** and shift ring any other parts that will be painted will be added for 2 dollars each.(with exception to the stereo holder which will cost 7 dollars since its so large and heavy) paint time is 2 days(painting and drying) and shipping is 2 days i think one to get here and one to get back. it should take a weeks time at the most. but feel free to email me if you like this idea and want pictures.

This is Trisha (tonys girlfriend)The website that i have the pictures on is currently down, i'll forward them from file either tomorrow or later tonight.I dont use factory colors due to them costing SO flippin much money, but i match them so damn well that you can hold my paint to the car and you can't notice the difference. I like to sand before I paint but i got this awesome plastic primer so if you'd rather them not being sanded i can avoid that. Umm...all the interior parts?in our scion i did the 2 triangles by the mirrors, all of the little door pieces, door sills(plastic ones),stereo(the two silver things on the side)all the temperature *****,keys, fobs, the shift ring, engine cover, and outlined the toyota vvt-i in fuji blue.I can do just about anything actually.I have paint chips from every color scion so that i can make sure im as close to it as i possibly can be. These parts can either be metallic or flat, glossy or matte.I'll have to get back to you on how much they would all cost.Im in annapolis maryland..if you pay shipping here, i'll pay to ship it back if its not too too much.and if you arent happy with it i'll return your money or return your money and paint them back to silver, but i havent had an unhappy customer yet.The only thing i havent figured out how to paint yet is the steering wheel pieces.i can engrave and make special badges for your car if you want to feel special...i can do just about anything really i assume, but if you'd like to know more hit me up-trisha.
The reason I asked about sanding is because I have done some sanding/painting myself. I did pretty much every plasic part in my truck. I'm wanting the parts in my xB to be smooth, like the outside and I know some plastic parts have that texture on it and it needs to be sanded smooth. Since doing my truck I'm really not wanting to sand again! lol So if you have some good prices I'll prolly let you do it for me. It's hard o find somebody to this type of work.
Yea the sanding is a good question realy because the main reason I want to do this is the DAMN SCION INTERIOR TEXTURE!! I hate the texture.. so I figured smooth it all out and make it match the outside would look awesome.. PM me with a price I got Black Sand Pearl by the way if that makes any DIff I know some paints are more exspensive.

i saw nice dash kits on www.veneerz.com also talk to them and they can send you a precut kit that you can paint yourself.
i think it's a better solution, you don't have to paint original plastic and possibly ruin it and can remove it later

I just got back from NOPI and there was a guy from the Atlanta area there that had a Hot Lava with most of the dash, he left the silver stuff silver, as well as the plastic on the door panels sanded down and color matched. It looked great. Getting it smooth couldn't have been to much trouble because this definitely was.

it may be just the resolution of those pics but doesn't that look a little "over-the-top" (OTT) to anyone else?
I like the painted dash thing...I've been doing it for years on other cars after seeing it on 50's vehicles and European cars, but there is a certain art to it so that it doesn't appear to be either:
1. Almost all painted, like a paint can exploded in yer car
2. patchy part paint - that only the parts anyone can unscrew got painted.
a subtle horizontal flow of the color from the doors across the dash is the sweetest look...vertical lines are a bust.
Forget CF...it's a fad. In 10-15 years, they'll see your CF coated vehicle and say "that's sooo 00's" ...it will go the way of the skateboarded vehicle...

Trends are circular. It all comes back around again eventually. Just look at alot of the new cars. They look like old cars
And secondly if someone does something to there car because its a trend then that is kind of dumb. I think people do things to there car that they like. So even if in 10-15 years CF isn't the cool thing to do. Who cares if the person likes it thats all that matters
