JL 300/2....JL amps in General.....
Ok,
We all know this JL amp puts out 150watts per channel. It will put out 150 watts from 1.5ohm to 4ohm......
My question is if you were to put a pair of speakers wired together at 2ohms to just one of the channels would each speaker receive 150watts? Or would each speaker receive 75watts?
Do you see what I am saying?
Holla......

Why do you ask?? Have a setup you're contemplating?

They would get 75 watts each since the one channel would only push out 150watts.... If you wired the 2 subs together (say 2 SVC 4ohm subs) in parallel and got a 2 ohm mono load, then hooked it up to the + on one channel and - on the other channel(bridged at the amp), the pair of speakers will get 300 watts... or 150 a piece, however you want to look at it....

I just think it's weird that you can adjust it from 1.5ohm to 4ohm to put out the same amount of power.
As a general rule of thumb for most amps we double the power when we cut the resistance in half. I was assuming that you could squeeze 300watts per channel out of this amp for some reason......
Thanks for the help gentleman......JL amps are definately unique.
