I JUST BOUGHT AN 06 XA,AND THE DEALER SAID HE DID NOT GET THE KEYLESS ENTRY FOBS FROM PREVIOUS OWNER,,HOW CAN I TELL IF MY CAR EVEN HAS KEYLESS ENTRY,BEFORE I GO AND BUY FOBS ?? IS THERE A RELAY OR SOMETHING I CAN LOOK FOR ?,,,THE DEALER SAID IT HAD MOONROOF,AND POWER SEATS TOO, BUT OF COURSE IT DID NOT !!SO I WANT TO MAKE SURE IT HAS KEYLESS ,BEFORE I BUY FOBS......IT Was not listed on window sticker when new,but niether was the wheels ,upgraded stereo etc......any help appreciated,this car is great btw..

 

What do you mean by keyless entry? The xA came with the fobs w/ the lock / unlock button on them I believe, it may be listed as power locks which are standard. Can the dealer replace them at his expense? Seems like if it's a standard feature it should come with the car, even used.

It does not have touchless entry, like new cars where you just walk next to it with a key in your pocket and it unlocks itself when you pull the handle.

 

no it did not come factory,in06,,dealer installed only and this car didn't have it fu**in dealers,,,all full of ____,,i found a couple kits on ebay for $20-$50,ill just put it in myself.....god i hate car dealers
