Does anyone have any experience with Memphis subwoofers? I'm looking at getting a pair of 12s in a sealed enclosure. I'm looking for sound quality not spl. I will be driving them with about 400 watts RMS. I already have Focal components for the front doors and coxials for the rear. Hopefully the amps (old Pioneer Class A) out of my previous vehicle will sound ok, or I will be replacing them as well.

I have a pair of pr124ds in an sealed 2x12 box running off a tsunami 1100d. They're cheap and they hit pretty good but i'm going to be upgrading in the near future.

 

Memphis subs are very good subs. However, they're mostly used for SPL......if you're wanting to compete in SQ, don't get these subs....there are better SQ subs out there....if you're just wanting it to sound really good but not be outrageously loud, go ahead and get some memphis.....

 

I'm kind of partial to Image Dynamics IDQs but the Memphis Subs are nice too.
