Can anyone suggest a really good pair of new headlights. I want to replace my stock ones with possibly the halo headlights but I wanted to know peoples opinions or suggestions on what to get. If you could give me a link or place to look for it and an estimated price I would greatly appreciate it. How hard is it to install them anyway really hard or easy. Thanks guys and gals!

Are you looking for all new housings as well? Or just good bulbs? Simple solution would be just getting some Silverstars, but sounds like you're looking for much more. Halo lights? You mean like the "angel eyes" on the BMWs?

 

Yea I am talking about the whole new housing. The angel eyes one is one I was looking at and I was wondering if anyone knows if they are good or bad or if there are a better looking/performing pair.

Well, for an uninformed opinion (i don't have an xB and don't have the angel eyes on my tC)... I would say the first pair looks nicer... but $45 shipping?! WTF?

That's their way of getting your attention with a cheap buy price, but they trick you with shipping. Check the other sellers, pretty comparable after shipping!

 

yea I noticed. So are those 2 ok or are ther better ones, different kits are even ok like halogen or something else. I kust want a set that looks cool.

 

from what i've read around the board, the ebay housings come with really poor lighting. if you plan on getting one, i would plan on getting either silverstars or HIDs as well. and i've read mixed reviews on the beam patterns. some say it's fine, some say it isn't.

as far as design, that first one looks piiiimp.

I was just gonna compare the bulbs that come with it to my HID's and decide which to keep in. I think I will go for that first one. I love them both but the second one had that eyebrow thing and i could do without that so #1 is lookin good.

 

I hear they're pretty poor quality.
