looking for xA interior led guide
Hello all. Ive been searching for about an hour or so and will continue to do so but I am looking for a decent guide to install led's in my 06 xa (by pedals, under front and back of passenger and driver seat). I guess my final goal is to be able to either have the led's only on when headlights are on or by a switch somehow. any help is appreciated.
Just search for footwell cathodes or something like that. Basically all you'd really have to do is either tap a 12v source in the cabin, or run a wire through the firewall to the battery. You're probably best having it on an independent switch.
Here is a guide that helped me when I installed my cathodes. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=29238 What you need is to get a "Mini Add-a-Circuit" that plugs into your fuse box and gives you a fused 12volts to use. Now with cathodes you don't need to do much after this but with LEDs you'll need to add resistors to each LED and find a way to mount them. Let me know if you need anymore info.

And about your question of adding more "converters" to the same power wire, read this: http://www.oznium.com/forum/topic8319

I already placed my order at www.oznium.com and i would actually rather have the cathodes. Should be a fun install!
