Default Need XM receiver for aftermarket HU if got XM from factory?

I will be getting a tC this weekend with the XM radio. If I get an aftermarket XM ready HU(probably Pioneer DEH 7700), will I need the XM receiver/signal converter that is needed for that unit, or does the tC come with one that I can keep using?

Thanx,

Craig

Yes, you will need the xm unit that is designed for the new hu. You "might" be able to keep the antenna but I sorta doubt it. Don't know if the antenna plugin modules are universal or not. If you have activated your xm yet you probably could transfer that over to the new unit once you get it installed.
