Default New Head Unit or Drop springs?

Which one should I invest my money into first?

Right now I'm running the factory Pioneer Headunit with Two Crossfire AMps. One is for the 5 1/4" components in the front and the other is pushing 2 12" Crossfire DB3 in the back. With running the stock head unit I had to run the input/output converters for the RCAs. It sounds decent now but I want to run the Pioneer DEH-P7600 AM/FM CD receiver so I can elimated the converter. I also want to get some 2" drop springs for my car.

Here are my choices:

1. Finish the stereo setup, get my 2" drop springs, and then get my wheels

2. Get 2" drop springs, wheels, and then stereo

The stereo is going to cost me about 200 to 250 depending on who I get it from. The springs I can get them for about 100 to 150 depending on what springs.

I appreciate any suggestions

Go with the springs and wheels first.......I am always partial to performance and handling way before sound quality

Yeah, drop it first. It might be different if you had no tunes, the stock HU works good, IMO. With your extras its gotta be going good, just not the best...

Default will our scion radios fit into a matrix?

i am trying to sell my stock headunit to a freind of mine and thought I saw someone say the scion radio will fit in a matrix, my buddy went to toyota and they told him it is too big.. has anyone done this with success? I know all the wiring harnesses will work just not sure if it will physically fit.

It takes some trimming to get a stock HU into a 99 tundra, probably going to be the same deal with a matrix.
