Ok, so I'm sitting at home watchin TV, and blam I hear my alarm. I run outside and I see this joker in a Honda takin off as fast as he can. . . so I walk up to my car and see some light marks on the top edge of my window! The F'er was tryin to break into my car, and he set off the alarm! I just have the factory alarm (not an aftermarket one) and it worked! Paid for itself right there!

I'm a happy camper!!

Man, it just scares me to think that anyone would want to steal my car.....

Glad to hear that the car is safe, Also good to know that the alarm went off, and at least you were awake.

2 years ago someone broke into my show car while I was on vacation and it was at my parents house, they are sound sleepers didn't hear the alarm, and the person took 4 tv's and 2 amps. Insurance covered it, but it sucked having my stuff stole.

 

Yeah, I got a crappy amp and a crappy 12" sub in the back, but nobody in the apartments knows, because I always have the cargo cover over it, and I ALWAYS turn it down when I pull in. Secondly, the guy ran off before I could get a good look at him. All I saw was the civic next to me takin off in a real big hurry. The scratches buffed out, so no biggie. . . I'm just glad that he wasn't persistent, or else I might be in jail right now for assault and battery

Let's just say that my faith in alarms just went up 10 points. True if someone wants to steal a car, odds are they will. But most thieves don't go that far. Hey, now I'm starting to think about getting a pager alarm tho. . .

 

Cool beans, be glad you were home and awake. I have a nifty car alarm too, it's called a Glock.. 165db's and a swift kick in the ___! lol..
