oem HU wires

Hi
I am swapping my 06 IPOD HU for a 06 stock HU. Are the wires the same?

Should be the same. The only difference should be the extra connector for the Ipod on the Ipod HU which got installed with that HU. They all come from Japan prewired/harnessed and the dealer just connects whichever HU the customer orders.

Is the ipod connector already prewired if the car didnt come with the ipod HU?

Nope, the Ipod connector comes with the Ipod HU which the dealer would install along with the HU.
