I've decided on getting the Eclipse AVN5500 HU. i would like to replace the front speakers, get a sub and amp.

i would also like to get a good alarm system.

budget for everything is around 2K

I have 2 of their Eu-700s ina ported box...impressive for a 6.5" woofer!!!

 

Go to your local stereo shops and listen to what they have to offer. Everyone has different tastes and you don't want to end up with a system you don't like because you took someone else's opinion.

I will vouch for ED's subs. I have a pair of the 13.OV2s and they are some of the best I've ever heard.

 

Look at my sig for pics. They are of my "old" system of nine.2x /nine.4/Di6000s.

High quality stuff at a great (no middle man markup) price. eD has a hassle free return policy and 3 yr transferable warranty. Also, lifetime tech support..

Agreed w/chadfo, go listen to actual speakers, but be sure that you can return them (installed once) for exchange/refund. Stuff may sound good in a demo board but bad in your specific ride.

Maybe someone w/eD installed is located near you...

 

Sorry to thread jack but I saw that tanakasan is using Vifa tweets and I've never seen anyone else with them before.

I have VIFA D25AG-35s in my dash. I've never had clearer highs before.
