Can you use both top and side terminals at the same time?

I will be using my top terminals for the cars ignition, audio, etc.

I want to use my negative side terminal to wire my grounding kit, is this possible to do? or will it cause damange to the battery?

If i do this, i will be using both top terminals, and only the negative side terminal (just wanted to clear it up even more)

The two are strapped together by a brass strip that's under
the yellow plastic. It's not an issue to use both terminals.
Just be careful in the future when you "disconnect the ground"
to service something...remember you have TWO grounds now!
