piggybacking a fuse

Default piggybacking a fuse

ive heard there is a way to "piggyback" a fuse. Can anyone shed some light on this. What is the name of the fuse that has a wire coming out of it. or do you have to jerry rig it by shoving the wire between the fuse and fuse box?
