ok... so yeah... finally installed my second hand Kenwood...
and yeah..
got a small problem

Help?????
the guy i bought it from isnt answering e-mails...
i was told to call kenwood and see what they say...
anyone have the same issue

try 1111 as a code first ....default..(I think...check the manual for the default code and try that if it isn't 1111)..if that doesn't work ...I am not sure if kenwood will give you any help or not...they may have master code but they really shouldn't give it out would help thieves sell what they have stolen. Hope you get the code.

no, its not stolen... i have the original packaging and everything....
just a stupid previous owner...
and i actully talked to a friend of mine who looked it up on some car audio website, its actully a common problem

took it to a service center as directed by 1800-kenwood
took all of 5 minutes, cost me $25
beautiful screen

we got MF'in snakes on an MF'in Kenwood that plays DVDs while the vehicle is in motion

glad you got it fixed. we had a similar problem, took the radio down to an aurthorized repair center and $60 later we have a working radio. you are lucky they charged you $25, they could of been buttholes and charged more, like our guy did.

yeah well this guy was really cool, came out and told me what he had to do to the radio... plus he saw that my dvd blockout wire was just hanging there, and asked what i was gonna do with it... i told him that i wasnt sure... he said "just combne it with the ground wires and it will work"
i didnt know thatcustomer service actuly existed still ya know
