PS One Screen install ?
How exactly would i go about wiring up oh...5 psone screens, just the screens not the whole grey sony casing thing, into my ps2? I know i'd need to somehow make boxes and all that for them but I'm more worried about the wiring aspect of the install. and what kind of connectors, rf modulators, etc. Here's some pics of what it looks like
any help is greatly appreciated!

Well, aside from the cosmetic changes....all you need to hook them up is an amplified video splitter. Here is one on Ebay, but I'm sure you can find them at your local Best Buy. Your PS would feed the splitter. This is a 3 feed.

so that just has multiple rca jacks in it basically right? and then i just use the multi out cord with the rca's at the end to connect it? the multi out from the ps2 to the converter, then the rca's from the multi out on the screens to the converter?

Usually, with each tap, you loose 3db (50%) at least. With the amp, this is not an issue.

just to throw this out there, should there be caution taken when installing power to those screens.....aren't they made for 110v AC?? seems like you'll have to have an inverter to power the screens up....

Don't worry about the 110v AC. You can convert it to 12 volt DC from your car battery. Just take any 12 volt output from your fuse box. Just rememeber the output from your 110 volt AC power supply is 12 volt output. Just get one of the same connectors with the yellow tip at the end from radio shack. Rememeber to put a fuse on it. The inside of the little yellow connector is (+) battery and outside is (-) ground. This should work just fine. Nice idea...

thanks for the help guys...i'm getting some splitters today and might try hooking it up later on...i'm a total noob when it comes to stuff like this so i have no idea what to do lol. The ac adapter says 120v ac input--7.5v dc output.
power is a totally seperate story! I was thinking that all i'd be able to do is get a power inverter and plug them all into that lol...but scionjohn are you saying that if i get the tip deal and a fuse that i'd be able to do it some other way?
p.s. can't take the credit for the idea...heard about these screens on sale at kmart off of another thread

The ac adapter says 120v ac input--7.5v dc output.
If this is the case you can get a variable 12 volt cigarett lighter type power supply from Radio Shack with various tip included. They do have one with variable power output. This should also work without the cutting or soldering. Enjoy!
