So can someone tell me what would be the best size LED to use for puddle lights?

Depends on where you would like to have them placed. Mirror bottom or pinchwells on the undercarrage?

I was thinking under door so the show up when opened. Undercarrage is second option.

So you need something to tap into your door trigger, My suggestion is if you want to tap them onto the bottom of the door, get LEDs with collars on them, that way you can drill a hole to the collar size, and clip it in place, then place the LED in the collar so it doesn't fall out.

Yea I was more concerned about the size of the led. 3mm 5mm etc. Or if I could even tell a difference.
