Default question: adding amp, subs, and back seat question.

just picked up the Xb. Stuck with single cd player. have amp, subs to install, but don't want to change head unit.

-are there RCA outs of any kind in factory head unit?
-if not, am I stuck with line level outs?
-can entire rear seat be removed quickly, easily? how does it look removed?
-current sub box is too large to fit flat in rear (big, 73lbs, 2 x10's, yikes.)
-just want to add amp for subs only.
considering rear seat removal and laying enclosure on top of that. car is for commuting and trips to races around the country... no rear seat is not a big deal to me I think?..

I did a search for these topics, and didn't find the answers. forgive if it's old topic and just help a dude out please...

-are there RCA outs of any kind in factory head unit? no
-if not, am I stuck with line level outs? yes unless you change out the headunit
-can entire rear seat be removed quickly, easily? how does it look removed? just fold the rear seats down
-just want to add amp for subs only.

interested in knowing if rear seat removal altogether is viable option, and if it's easy.

also interested in knowing the best route for getting signal from factory head unit to amp for subs.

TIA

Yes the rear seat removal is quite easy, it takes about 5-10 minutes if you have any clue what you are doing at all.

snag the remote out of the back of the stock stereo, that is proabbly your best bet.

Default got my solution

ran line level from rear speaker to amp, and subs. Didn't jack with new harness since the power would not be enough for new amp... just ran power and 'switched on' from battery and ignition 12v.

As for the seats, they can be removed pretty easily.. and so can pretty much every plastic piece on this car in about 15 seconds, and apparently without breaking anything...

Thanks for the input.
