Other then sound deading stuff, not much can be done. Maybe see if there is some special weather seals or something, to help block out wind noise. Get a different set of tires that dont have much road noise. Crank up your radio so you hear that instead of other noises.

smaller rims, bigger tires = less road noise

You could leave it in the garage.

The glass roof is a perfect acoustic reflector of most interior noise... so unless you do something extreme and replace it with cf or whatever its just going to be a noisy car.

One thing to try might be some insulated wheel well liners... the back wheel wells make a lot of noise in the rain and I bet even when its not raining that's where a lot of noise comes from.

You'd probably have to fabricate something like that on your own, or have a really talented custom shop.

well that would work good if there wasn't another car in the garage with a 1200 watt amp and a 12 in sub.

So far I have done the following.
14" light weight wheels and 196/65x14 touring radials (BFG).
Stuffed the rear hatch and the side trim areas full of poly-fill.
Painted all door interiors with spray on sound deadener, sililar to e-dead. Also sprayed the rear floor area after removing the rear tire, etc.
Everyone that rides in the car comment on how smooth the ride and quiet it is for a small compact car.
If I wern't so afraid of removing the headliner that is the last area I would remove and stuff with poly-fil. The stuff weighs nothing and is dirt cheap!!

Poly fill is basic pillow stuffing available at any fabrics manufacturer. Walmart carries it, fabric stores carry it, hobby stores carry it, etc... Another idea would be to go under the car and apply a few heavy coats of spray-on rubbberized undercoating. You can pick it up in spray cans at an automotive store, anywhere that sells car paints (duplicolor, etc...) should carry it. Around here what they carry is made by bondo's parent company, marhyde... Comes in a red can. It's all the same though...
