I don't leave it in the car when I'm parked and taking it down is easy. The other option is to use th coiled cord (like the one's on telephones) and just drop it straight down from the V1 to the cigarette lighter. Cord is not the thick, but may be a visible distraction to some when driving.

ok... lol mythbusters did a test on radar/laser jamming scrambling etc and busted all of the products out there and then some. They even painted a car with stealth bomber paint and the guns STILL picked the speed up... Don't waste your money.

as for a radar detector, get a passport 8500 x50. Period.

If you want to know where the cops are, get a scanner. Saved my ___ a few times....

I have a BCT-12 Uniden beartracker and it rules all other methods. They don't make them anymore because they are small enough to put and hide in your car, but once in awhile you can find one on ebay at 150% above what one costed new!

I got mine for 150 shipped, you can get them on ebay for like 225.

After doing some extensive research - seems the BEL Pro RX65 and the passport X50 are of even par, the difference being the RX65 has voice alerts. just for your info..
