Default Replacement Sunvisors and big review mirror

I'm considering a Broadway rearview mirror for my xB. They come in flat or convex, 300mm, 270mm and 240mm. Of course bigger is better, right?

Which ones of the sizes and types have you used or seen that look good and give good visability--is the 300 overkill?
Convex vs Flat? I like the flat from a design point, the xB is a box.

What about the visors? I know the 300mm will block the visors, will the 270, or 240 allow the visors push up against the windshield. The visors have to be pushed against the window to hold a heatsheild/sunscreen in place when parked.

Is there a replacement visor for the xB; a match from another car that might be shorter--on the Element there was a pull out that extended the visor after it cleared the mirror.

I bought a convex rearview mirror on Ebay, its that one that supposedly has a cell phone signal detector (which absolutely does not work) but the mirror is great. Its large (not sure the size exactly). Mine does block the sun visor from going down but I don't use mine anyway. The best part about it is with the convex mirror I can see out my passenger side windows without turning my head. The worst part is for the first couple of days looking in the mirror made me sick to my stomach. PEACE!

Convex vs Flat?
I just received and mounted a Broadway Convex 240mm "Type A" (for tinted windows) model BW83 rearview mirror. It cost $11.99 + S&H. I've only used it for about 1 hour. So far I like it very much; good visibility. The sun visors just barely clear (they still bump the mirror a little). Anything bigger than 240mm will definitely stop the sun visors from being pushed back fully. This was an important point for me since I use a sun shade often.

I purchased the mirror from ACT-LABS.com and was very satisfied with the transaction.

See the following web page for their assortment of Broadway mirrors:

* UPDATE: 7/15/04 - I've now driven another 1.5 hours with the mirror in city traffic. It really helps eliminate the blind spots. I feel much safer in heavy traffic and in parking lots. Convex is not for everyone. I'm used to convex and like it. It mentally confuses some people; they have difficulty judging distances. The Broadway mirror has slight convexity; about the same as passenger-side mirrors. For me it's great!

Hope this helps. :D RPM

Update:

I purchased the broadway 240mm flat mirror and the visors on the xb also barely clear the flat mirror. It's a good cheap upgrade to the tiny mirror. The ebay shipping cost almost as much as the mirror but the seller was very fast with shipping.

Yes, sort of like clip-on sun glasses, but better. Two of the four clips have strong springs inside that stretch and adjust to the stock mirror and hold the new thin mirror securely in place. It's a good design.

Here's a Pic of someone else's xB showing the clips. I think his mirror is bigger than 240mm.
