These are a couple of pictures of my stereo. I had 4 kicker s10l7 subs, two orion d2400 amps in custom amp racks that fit the rear window with built in fans for cooling of the amps. In the rear headrests memphis 5 1/4" and tweeters had been mounted facing towards the front of the car. There were memphis 6 1/2" in the front doors and 2" soft dome tweets in the dash. The mids and highs were powered by an alpine 4 channel. It also had an apline cda-7998 with a memphis 9volt line driver.

What's the advantage of base facing inside the box? Do you have DIY for the rear headset speaker install? I really like it.

 

the rear speakers in the headrests are cool, until you are riding around 3 other people and you get rear ended. i bet that wouldnt be too comfy.. your head being cushioned by a nice expensive/metal speaker housing.

 

now that is a hot setup! did you make the housing for the amps yourself or did you get them from audioforms?

the amp racks and rear headrests are a one of set by the person who built my system. The rear box was molded into the vehicle and the reversed subs were just for show. As far as the ports they were put there to give the needed space to have to ports be to specification while still keeping the sub box below the top of my rear seats. This was my daily driver so we tried to keep it as use able as possible.
