running wire tips????

Default running wire tips????

Ok Guys.... I just checked the "Tech" section out and could not find anything on "How to run wires in the XB" I know how to hook up the amps I am only looking for which way to run the wires, Anyone???? My plan is both 2 and 4 ch amps under seats. Thanks!!!!

The easiest way is to run it through the rubber grommet on the driver side. u can fit some pretty large wires through that. I have also ran power wire through the passenger side grommet, but thats a little more difficult because there is obstructions inside the car. On the driver side grommet, its littler straight into the car and there is nothing in the way.

If you've got an automatic, you can drill a hole where the clutch would have gone through the firewall. If thats not an option, look at the wire grommet just left of center on you firewall from outside. You'll see two little "nipples" on either side of the wires. Punch a hole or cut the ends off. You can use a wire puller or whatever to feed the wire through. They will end up on the passenger side inside the car. Just because of using anything hard/sharp/metal. Those are important wires.

If they are going under the seats I'd try running the power wires through the drain holes in the front floorboards then under the carpet right to the amps.
