I'm looking to get a subwoofer for my tC and i want to go with the stock one because of the box. Do you think the dealer will sell the woofer and box? Also, is there any way i can get the exact dimensions of the box so i can make it myself?

The dealer will most likely only sell the whole package, which includes the sub, box, amp, and necessary wiring. You can get it for like $250 from mcgeorge or other sources - making it youself would be a waste of money and it would turn out crappy - it's not square by a long shot.

 

I've made a custom box to fit for the rsx-s (VERY similar to the tC's box) and it was not crappy at all. But that is beyond the point. mcgeorge? can you be more specific? is that a member from this forum or a store? lol... thanks in advance.

Thats pretty cool but WAY overpriced .

 

With some patience and fiberglass skills, you can make a very nice custom molded box. But it will take a while working at home to do it right. I plan on building mine this summer if I get around to it!
