Default Scion xB firwall question. Led's in the grill

Ok So I am finally ready to do led's in my grill. I have leds all wired around the inside and have switches. My question is, How hard is it to get wire thru the firewall in the engine compartment? Also where does it come out in reference to the glove box?

Any help would be appreciated.

just go thru the grommet in the firewall. cut one of the nipples off and snake the wires thru. it will come out up high behind the glove box. Have to try and get your hand up there and pull it as it comes thru. taking out the glove box helps as well as lubing up yours wires so they dont get stuck against the rubber of the grommet.

You could alternately go through the grommet on the driver's side... the wires will come out under the dash. Just route them over the steering column and to the switchplate.

That would be closer to where my switch is... where how much digging will i have to do to get it thru that way?

Not too much... I scored the grommet with a knife, then taped the wires to a flathead screwdriver and pushed them through. Stay on the outer edge to avoid accidentally cutting the wires passing through the middle.

I recommend the passenger side since the grommet actually has nipples that are meant for wires to be run thru from bay to interior.
