Default Secure Shift ****

Sorry if I'm retreading old ground but I have come to a bit of confusion over shift *****...

Does any company make an aftermarket shift **** that will screw on the thread exactly like the stock one does? (for arguments sake, I'm talking about a 5 speed tC)

I get the impression that even the OBX ***** you can buy from scion are fastened to the shifter with screws... and I'd rather have something much more secure than that...

anybody have any idea what i'm talking about?

The OBX **** attaches to the shifter the exact same way the stock one does, the **** ***** just screws on, you can't get more secure than that. All Toyota's use the same threading on their shifters, so any aftermarket **** that'll fit a Toyota will fit your car.

I got the OBX Speed Star, and it had a threaded plastic insert, which I broke. It's the M/T, and it didn't thread right on. I need another plastic insert, and dunno what to do...

Go to www.koolknobs.com

They screw on as stock and you can get so many different options. Each one is handmade. I have one, color matched to my box that fades to silver...awsome!
