Does anyone know if this mirror comes with map lights?

it has three bottom lamps that project on to the center console in either white, blue, or amber. their not on the sides, but they are in the center (i dont know what you consider map lights) i would think those could be considered map lights

 

Here's my problem. I need a light that is not blinding because I drive with it on ( have an early morning paper route). I rented an xA and loved it except the dome light was blinding. I need something that is less subdued and shines down, not directly in my face.

That was the only thing I found that I didn't like about the xA. I'm trying to find a solution before I buy.

Natodog, are there 3 buttons for each lamp or is there just one button? Also, by the picture, it doesn't seem to be as bright as the dome light. True?

True its not as bright as the dome light....but when you have it on the regular "white" color it is bright enough without blinding you. There is only one button for the 3 colors...you just hold it down and it changes.

Any of the auto parts stores or even Wal Mart should have some lights that can plug into the cigarrette lighter if the auto dimming mirror isn't what you need.
