Cool, thanks for the pics. I was going to ask where you got that little sirius pad, pretty cool! I'm getting mine installed professionally hopefully this week, might get it done to the left-hand side of the wheel, though - I'll post up some pics when it's done. I'm getting a roof rack installed too. Can't wait.

My pleasure.

You should call Sirius and tell them you have their radio. I bet they would send you one of those anti-skid pads for free...they must have a million of them laying around...

Good luck with the install of the rack and tuner! Share pics when you're done!

Goto trdsparks.com for the SCION Sirius/XM kits.
You can also download the installation guides there to see what you're getting into.
BTW, if you have the '06 HU, you don't need an FM xceiver - it has an audio-in jack too for a portable...

it's the only place i've seen that you can get the tuner for the stock HU that isn't hundreds more. too bad the sirius tuner doesn't come with a year's free subscription, too. that knocks the price down about $150, which rules.

it's almost like the dealers don't want anyone to get satellite radio. hopefully the newly competitive pricing will force them to cease the obvious and insulting price gouging.

Just dropped the xB off for installation of my Sirius Xact Visor receiver. We discussed mounting it under the ashtray/lighter because the installer didn't think he'd be able to mount it well on the left hand side of the steering wheel. Should look good under there, we test fitted it and it looked sweet

Roof rack goes on today too. Can't wait for the call to go pick it up!

"pure pricing" as a selling point for buyers always makes me laugh. oh, really? there's no haggling allowed? you mean i only get to buy the car at MSRP?? wow, thanks so much!!

it was a joke when saturn introduced the concept, and it's a joke now.

Came out great. Here are some crappy cell phone pics for now, I'll get some better ones up later.

I HATE not being able to haggle.
BUT: it works both ways - they could easily ask more than sticker for tCs right now due to popularity (don't know about the xA/xB) and since they can't, you don't pay more like the Dodge dealers with 8k over-sticker tags.

All in all, I'd rather haggle, but I think it's good to make a good experience for younger buyers who often get screwed.

Sweet! Looks nice and solid. Did they bolt into the under side of the dash? Also, did they just hardwire to the existing HU for power? And where's the antenna? And how's reception? And...and...and!! And the rack looks tight! What kind is it?

8k over for a dodge...awesome! if that is for anything but a viper, give me a break. and even then...like DC isn't making enuf $$ on MSRP for a viper??? young folks out there, do not pay over sticker, ever. and don't even pay sticker! (unless, that is, the brand offers only "pure pricing." )
