Default a small problem...

i installed an aux input into my xb, i tested it with my moms' walkman(i don't have my mp3 player yet), and it worked, but...

there is a bit of volume loss.

as you all know, the factory stereos go from 0 to max, with the stereo turned up all the way, and the cd player turned up all the way(with bass all the way up), it sounds like it's at about 35-40.

how can i fix this? is there some mini-amplifier i can buy, or what?

there is going to be volume loss if you just use the aux adapter...its inevitable

what about a headphone amp? they make little amps that you plug your cd player and headphones into, and it makes the signal going to the hedphones a lot stronger.

something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

it makes sense. doesn't it?

my minidisc player has a lineout in addition to the headphone out. the lineout puts out a significantly hotter signal than the headphone out. if you've got one, try that instead
