hey Somnambulated, are these the right type of PIAA 194s that you got for your tC?

http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/PI...ITE_p_617.html

and you say you also got Silverstars too right?

I really like the look.

I just got PIAA lows and highs from there and spent 80 in total
do you know what the Kelvin temp for those PIAA bulbs are? And would you consider Sylvania Silverstars are the PIAA xtreme white to be better?

too bad here in Oregon, the headlight colors can only be yellow/white or pure white. maybe a blue tint to it might be ok. i don't know. i can't seem to find any information on it.

Both PIAA and Silverstar bulbs are 4000k, but I've always heard that PIAA is THE name in automotive bulbs. I was going to get the Silverstars becasue PIAA's were twice as much, but then I found them at Tweeter for about 5 bucks more than the Silverstars so I said what the hell.

Most places I have read say not to use leds in a headlight housing as they will melt, so watch out;) They do look good, but i'd be too worried about them frying/melting. I plan on switching to silverstars soon, I had them on my old car. Anyone have before/after pics with silverstars in their tc?
