Default Underseat Sub with 10 Alpine h/u?

I'm a TOTAL noob on audio stuff so plase correct me or bear with me

I was looking at the pioneer sub box and sub and amp

Not looking for anything big but I wanted to buy the '10 alpine h/u with 200
watts

http://i.ebayimg.com/21/!BdCSmM!!2k~...p6z6w~~_35.JPG

and the sw1001s4 sub

http://base1.googlehosted.com/base_media?q=http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41xMzXN40GL._SL500_AA280

and th 8 inch sub enclosure facing up

or

this down fire sub enclosure

http://i18.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/98/f8/454d_2.JPG

Does the downfire one decrease the durability of the sub? what are the pros and cons & which amp if I want to stick with pioneer.

Would I have enough space to mount a small amp next to or on the box under the seat?

Thanks everyone

Not really, when the sub is designed for operation in that orientation. The thing is, some subs shouldn't be down fired, so it's best to check and see if the one you're considering will be ok.

Here's a link to the information you'll need to determine such;

Thanks
I just went to scion night and spoke to an alpine guy that said the '10 apline unit wont work on 06 xb's so oh well

I want to stick with pioneer and I did alot of reading and think I will stick with a downfire sub like this one

any idea if the bazooka harness can be used to power an amp and sub
or will I need to power from batt and but the 08 premium with the rcs outlets?

You could always go with the Pioneer 10" shallow mount like I have in custom box under my driver seat.
