Vent LED Install

I would also suggest using inverted tip LEDs in the vents.
Most of my lighting is connected to a switch. My 5 cupholder LEDs are wired into the shift indicator light on the shift console, the normal mood lighting is on one switch and the show lights are on another

I might do the VIP open-door treatment in white.
Switches are key, I have 6 of them:
-underseat/dash cathodes
-dash/AC lights
-door/roof handles
-exterior lights
-cupholder/seatback hooks
-glovebox/ashtray/dash box
They are all hooked up now! I love it! I just went cruising around for a while. Oh and if anyone else is going to install led's in their car don't use superglue to hold anything electrical in place. I did that and almost set my car on fire.

I had put one in each vent, one in each door opener, and one in each door closer ( the thing you put your hand in to pull it shut. But i disconnected the vent ones and I am going to put a new set in there without the super glue this time. I guess I could just use ducktape. So hopefully that will work then.

The way I did my vents by the doors was I took of the center console and then took out the head unit and the 3 screws around it...one to the left one above and one to the right. With those out I took off the speaker covers about the left and right vent and unscrewed the speaker, drilled a hole in the vent at an angle. For the wiring of those LED's I pulled the dash up slightly on the frond just enough so i could pass the wire down and run it underneath and run them to the center console area. If you need more details let me know.
I put them in both of the handles on all the doors...as for the ones that you pull it shut with I have them shining to the front of the car...EX:

this is the driver side door handle to close the door I put the LED on
the back edge and have it shining the direction of the "+"

Yea that's what I meant and that is the way it was when i typed it in without all the periods i just used spaces and for some reason it always crunched it so. I just left it as is.
Would you please put the link to the DIY. I have tried searching and can not find it. I have eight lights that I would like to put in my vents. For my RS 2.0. I am getting all of the inside mods done first before I start on the Major outside ones.
