does anyone know where i can find a viper alarm at a great price, the place that i went to here in town wants 425 for one and it does not even come with a start button on the remote. if someone can direct me to a great place i wuld greatly appreciate it. or if they can tell me that the price i was quoted was good.

I bought mine online from www.electronicsbonanza.com, brand new in a box about $200 shipped from long island to boston. I'm briging it to tweeter to get it installed. They sell them at tweeter but want like $525 installed.

That's pretty much the going rate for a viper with remote start installed. A fair price. The only way you can get it cheaper that I know of is you could do like I did . The shop I bought it at was to busy to install it so they reluctantly sold me the alarm sans the install charge and you can install it yourself. But If you want it installed proffesionally you are going to end up paying more thatn if you had it done where you bought it... when you bought it. ( I have A Clifford without remote start.but pager)

 

i got mine for about 200 too, then got it installed at circuit city for $100 bucks.. Dont know why install was so cheap, but they really did a nice job suprisingly
