Weekend Projects: LED Happiness
Hello all:
I thought that I would share the results of a couple hours of work yesterday...
1. I installed SuperFA's door lock LEDs. They turned out great, if not too bright. Instead of following their directions and splicing into the 12v source in each door (which would have resulted in the lights being on all the time), I ran a separate line to each door and added a switch to the center console.

2. I _finally_ got started on my project to light the front emblem. I removed the bulk of the plastic from around the emblem and added a led strip to the back. Now, I need to add plexi to replace the plastic I removed, make the unit watertight, and install it. I should have pics next weekend.

Take care...
Richard

Get some night shots!
Thanks all!
I'll post some nighttime pics next weekend--once the emblem lighting is done as well.
The grab handles weren't my idea, but they are great. I used Oznium's led strips. Here's a link:

Hey just wanted to say thanks for the idea. I have an LE Envy Green, and so I put green Oznium in the grab handles. I hooked them up to the dome light and so they look awesome.
Great Idea and looks great, thanks.
