I had the satellite option installed for free by my dealer (I love Kearny Mesa Scion)... and I'm wondering, when I upgrade my head-unit, what I will have to change.

Is what I have similar to this, but a proprietary model for Scion HUs?:

If so, what would I need to change in order to use it as a stand-alone unit in conjunction with a unit such as:

As in, can I just use the antenna and tuner that's installed and wire it up to a stand alone receiver?
