Why would you replace the whole headrest? I assure you that 7" fit fine, and if you know what you're doing they'll look very factory. Problem with those Vizualogics, and audiovoxes (which I'll assume you're referring to) is that the quality of the screens are horrible. Maybe if they didn't use their bottom of the line screen it'd be fine to do, but with teh shat quality, they're not worth it. I never advise them to any customers, but I'll put them in if they absoloutely want it. About 50% of them return with an issue.

I have been doing headrest installs for about 5 years now and 7" will fit but they barely fit on our skinny headrest so we use Vizualogic headrest for all scions and cars with similar headrest designs that come thru our shop

Your shops too lazy to do the work to make them look right, plain and simple. They must not care about teh video quality, or they're willing to be returning to get the monitors fixed all the time. I've been doing installs for 6 years now, and have never been a fan of vizualogics's monitors. I could care less how easy or convenient they are, I care about my customers, so I sell them things of quality, not convenience. By the way, the 7" give you at least 1/2 inch inside the seam on each side. If you'll take all the fabric off and rebuild the headrest it's much easier.

your right they fit i was not arguing that what i was saying is they look like crap becasue you have to slide them down to the bottom of the heasd rest then they are off center in the headrest from top to bottom. As far as vizualogic screens being crap you must be doing something wrong on the install because the only one i have had problems with is one a little kid put his foot into and there pic quality is equal to most of your other headrests out there.

And before you try to be insulting about how you have been installing for 6 years you should make sure you know who your shooting your mouth off to. I have been installing Headrest for 5 years i have been a custom installer for 10 years
