Where can I get an iPod cable??
And just the cable? I have a RS3 xB if that makes a difference but basically the connector end of my cable got in some Coke and I can't seem to clean it well enough to connect to my iPod. I know someone will have the answer.
To clarify I mean the cable that actually connects to the iPod input jack in the center console and the other end into the iPod itself. I have the Alpine head unit that completely controls the iPod.
isn't it just a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male????

The RS3 comes with its own unique cable that lets you plug the iPod in remotely via the center console. I don't think it's a cable that you can just go buy somehwere.
But anyways, I have mine and don't need it...shoot me a PM and make an offer? I'll ship.

Try some electronic contact cleaner spray.
Sadly, you're going to have to chat somebody up on this website. Not sad because its the website, sad that its your only option. You can go through the dealer, but Toyota will charge you 95 friggin' dollars for the cable. Yes, 95 dollars. And its the same cable for everybody that upgraded to the iPod-interface Pioneer system (the one with the display that can change colors).
I've secured one by the above prescribed method and a very gracious user is hooking me up. THere's a few people here that upgraded to that then, in turn, upgraded their deck and now have a useless 95-dollar cable lying around. Hit them up, strike a deal.
Believe me, its impossible to find. The only lead I got was from somebody at Dice Electronics (they make a similar setup) that told me the cable the Scion/Toyota line uses is a GM protocol. You might go to DiceElectronics.com to see if that's the case. If it is, they'll only charge you 40 bucks.

Everyone here is some much more friendly and helpful than other car forums I've been on in the past.
Hello all. My car was broken into this past weekend. They stole my iPod and my cable from my 2006 XB. I do have the iPod feature installed on my stereo from Toyota. It's not just a regular AUX cable. I would be willing to buy one (iPod cable, that is) from anyone who would like to sell it to me. Thank you very much.
