Default Where did you mount fuse holder in engine compartment?

Does anyone have a pic or can describe where they mounted their fuse holder for their amp power line in their engine compartment? I'm looking but it's so tight in there there is much space to mount it near the battery. Any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

you can mount it to the drivers side strut tower. just screw it right in there. you can also just put it on top of the relay box and either tape it on or screw it down.

sorry i don't have pictures. (i know someone is going to ask. just use your imagination). the fuse is only a few inches away from the + terminal on the battery if you mount it to the strut tower.

Think I'll use some double sided 3M tape and put it on the relay box. Thanks a lot.

Here is what I did for mine. I made a stainless bracket and mounted to it. By the way the Optima with the terminals on the extreme sides works great without having to modify the stock battery terminal.

Thanks, that's a great idea. Think I might upgrade to the optima eventually. I like your set up.

Thats a cool idea but it won't work on a Southeast Scion with Cruise control. Thats where the control box sits.

Here is mine...

It's mounted on the upper firewall by the cowling, next to the strut mounts.
