Default Where does the bazooka factory harness plug in?

I'm ordering a factory Bazooka harness this Tuesday, June 1, <Toyota Scion Part Number: PTS20-52040-WH> to install a Bazooka EL11 I've had hanging out in my garage. In preparation, I've been looking for the female end of the speaker harness that the Bazooka harness plugs into but haven't found it yet. Looked under the rear seats, and in the trunk area. Can anyone tell me where the female plug is located in the car?

Cheers,

You have to run the harness from the headunit, down behind the glove compartment, down the passenger side, under the rear seat, and right by the spare tire. YOU HAVE TO RUN IT YOURSELF. The fun part is unlatching the rear seat. That is the hardest part. Good luck. If you need anymore help, let me know

Cool to know- the female plug for the harness is behind the head unit. Does the harness run under the plastic door trim on the passenger side, or under the carpet? I was able to pop the clips free for the rear seat without too much trouble.

Thanks!

Well that was easy. It took all of an hour, once I had a the factory Bazooka harness, to run it from the back of the head unit, behind the glove compartment, under the passenger footwell trim, under the rear seat to the Bazooka. I found a great link here on Scionlife that detailed the only two hidden screws behind the climate control *****, so I could pull the center section and then the head unit.

Thanks for the feedback; now I've got my "collecting dust up on a shelf in the garage" Bazooka put to use in the xB.

Cheers!

do you get the harness yet? i beleive the harness is back order nationwide,, coz i ordered it from 5 different dealer like for 2 months, but still don't have it, anyway, if you really can get it, please post the link to order..

not sure what bazooka you have, if you have the bazooka oem wires with the RCA plug already, you can go to ebay buy a harness adptor, so you can convert the HU to RCA preout.. one guy selling the adptor on ebay now.. go check
