I've had an AVN2454 in my tC for 6 months now... I love it.

The nav map is 1.0, however, and I would like to upgrade to the 1.2 that came with AVN5425 or whatever it is. Or do they have 1.4 coming out soon?

Everything I've heard about buying the DVD navigation disc says "see your authorized Eclipse dealer", but I don't know where one is in Houston. I have never been able to even find a mention of it on any websites or eBay.

So... does anyone know where I can buy the upgraded ver 1.2 or newer? I know they're several hundred dollars.

 

Find someone who has the 1.2 version disc and have them burn a copy for you. I have the AVN 2454 and borrowed the 1.2 version and made a copy.

 

^there it is. Isn't there a number for Eclipse you can call and ask them information as well?

 

I've contacted eclipse about when the new version would be out, and was told late jan early feb and the cost is around $200

 

I would find someone that had purchased a newer model of the Eclipse AVN line with a NAV DVD. More than likely they will have a newer version and I would be willing to bet that all NAV DVD's are compatiable with the Eclipse NAV units.
